TS LAN 400 is a four-day course that prepares craftsmen for all aspects of fiber optic cable installation in a local area network environment. Cable placement, fusion and mechanical splicing, cable termination (connector installation and pigtail splicing) and acceptance testing are taught with extensive hands-on practice. Also covered is the use of equipment, hardware and procedures pertaining to building distribution and campus applications.

The course includes class instruction, course materials, certificate of completion and the use of Corning Cable Systems’ ancillary equipment and hardware.

TS TELCO 300:
Hands-On Installation Course for Maintenance, Restoration and Troubleshooting of Single-Mode Plant Facilities
TS TELCO 300 is a three-day hands-on course that teaches maintenance, troubleshooting and emergency restoration for a fiber optic cable network in an outside plant environment. The course is ideal for craftsmen, outside plant managers and contractors who need to maintain and restore fiber optic cable. A maintenance plan is outlined and the course is highlighted by a hands-on emergency restoration exercise.

TS TELCO 500 is a five-day, hands-on course that prepares craftsmen for all aspects of fiber optic cable installation in an outside plant environment.
