Electronics Technician Association International (ETA®)
The ETA has approved Corning Access Networks and Local Area Networks Installation courses for the following certifications:

Fiber Optic Installer (FOI)

Fiber Optic Installer — Outside Plant (FOI-OSP)

Fiber Optic Technician (FOT)

Fiber Optic Association (FOA)
The FOA has certified Corning Cable Systems as an approved school for:

Certified Fiber Optic Technician (CFOT)

While the listed Corning Courses should help reinforce the concepts needed to pass these exams, Corning Cable Systems strongly recommends that students read the exam requirements on the ETA and FOA Web sites and study the recommended material prior to attending the class. ETA- and FOA-recommended books are not provided in our classes; it is the student's responsibility to obtain these materials on their own.
