Hands-On Comprehensive Technology Course for Single-mode TELCO Networks, Installation and Repair
Description
A five-day, hands-on course that prepares craftsmen for all aspects of fiber optic cable installation in an outside plant environment. Cable placement, fusion and mechanical splicing, cable termination (pigtail splicing), and acceptance testing are taught with extensive hands-on practice. The use of equipment, hardware, and procedures pertaining to outside plant and termination location applications is included in the instruction.
