FutureCom F

FutureCom F (2002) is Corning's high-end system solution for symmetrical copper cabling. It satisfies all the requirements of the current Class F standards for the transmission paths and Category 7 for the components. The highest level of system performance is achieved through the utilization of high-quality Category 7 cables, connecting hardware and the corresponding patch cables.

Cables
The FutureCom F System cables are available with zero halogen (LSZH) jacketing with foil-shielded pairs and an additional full braided shield (S-STP). The cables are non-corrosive, low-smoke and flame retardant. The low signal delay margins between the pairs (low-skew) emphasizes their suitability for Gigabit Ethernet.

Connecting Hardware
The S1200 Module is the foundation of the FutureCom F cabling system. Its outstanding transmission values and high mechanical stability are its crucial advantages. The S1200 Module is fully shielded (360° shield cover) and also offers optimal shielding of the individual foil-shielded pairs (PiMF) from each other (quadrant separation).

Patch Cords
FutureCom F Category 7 Patch cords are two or four-pair, have foil-shielded and full braided shielding (S-STP). They are pre-connectorized with shielded S1200 connectors on both ends and are available in various lengths. Hybrid patch cords are offered for the integration of existing networks and active components with an RJ45 interface. Application-neutral Category 6 S-STP Patch Cables or Category 5 S-FTP Patch Cables are also available.
