Property Photo Over the years, Corning Cable Systems has created testing procedures and facilities recognized industry-wide as a benchmark for testing of optical components and high-speed broadband applications.

The facilities listed below were customized for Corning Cable Systems Keller, Texas plant.

Broadband Testing Laboratory
The Broadband Testing Laboratory assists customers in the design and deployment of high data rate local loop products and services. All the laboratory equipment, personnel and procedures are ISO compliant and listedthrough Underwriters Laboratories Client Test Data Program for Category 5 testing.
The facility can be custom configured to support virtually any application.

Environmental Lab
The Environmental Testing Lab creates real-life environmental conditions to determine product responses to outdoor stress — including rain, heat, cold, salt water and chemical exposure. A key feature of the lab is the Rain Chamber, created by Keller engineers and recognized throughout the industry for its innovative design and testing capabilities.

DSL Interoperability Lab
The DSL Interoperability Lab places high-data rate DSL products in real-world network scenarios using network equipment from a wide variety of equipment manufacturers. Results are recorded to determine product and system interoperability performance.

The Keller facility also features an electrical testing lab and materials lab.
