Dear CAH Customers,
Corning Cable Systems prides itself on continuous product innovation and improvement in service to our customers. I am pleased to inform you of some important enhancements to our ST® Compatible,
FC, SC and LC crimp bands, as well as our LC heat-cure and anaerobic connectors. These enhancements improve product performance with no change to product handling, processing and tooling.
We have changed the material of the 1.6/2.0 mm and 3.0 mm crimp bands for ST Compatible, FC, SC and LC connectors from machined brass to drawn aluminum. Crimp bands for LC connectors simply
changed from machined brass to drawn brass. These changes improve jacket retention and increase the ease of boot installation. This product change for our ST Compatible, FC, SC and LC bag of parts
(BoPs) single pack and bulk pack connectors will begin November 30. The photograph shown here illustrates the difference between the previous crimp bands and the new bands. You can continue to
use your current processes and tooling with these crimp bands.

In addition, we have changed the design for our heat-cure and anaerobic LC connectors to a single-piece body. There will be minor visual differences in the product, but the improvement increases the
connector's tensile and side load strength. This product change is available today. Again, you can continue to use your current processes and tooling with these connectors. However, you should reference
the latest version of SRP 006-327 (Version 7), because some strip lengths have been modified.
I hope you will be as pleased with the enhancements to these products as I am. Please don't hesitate to contact me or Corning Cable Systems Customer Service with any questions or concerns.
Thank you for being a valued Corning Cable Systems customer.
Sincerely,

Sean Kelly
Sales Manager CAH
